In an unexpected twist, Donna Cowan and the Anchored in Love team embarked on a new venture that added a spirited twist to Port Lavaca’s social scene. Responding to the evolving desires of the community, they introduced “The Tipsy Bean” in 2023, a lively bar that became an instant hit. The Tipsy Bean brought a fresh energy to the town, offering a vibrant and inviting atmosphere where locals and visitors alike could unwind and enjoy a diverse selection of craft cocktails, beers, and wines. The mixologists at The Tipsy Bean curated a menu that blended classic concoctions with innovative, locally-inspired drinks, ensuring that there was something for every palate. This extension of the Anchored in Love brand seamlessly combined the warmth and community spirit of its coffee counterpart with the lively ambiance of a trendy bar.
